A new year means new climbing goals. Whether you’re chasing your first V4, tightening up technique, or just trying to climb more consistently, here’s how to build real, sustainable progress in 2026. Practical tips, smarter training ideas, and a mindset that keeps you psyched—not burnt out.

In this month’s blog, we dive into what we’re most thankful for: our climbing community, the incredible outdoor playground we get to call home, the slow-and-steady gains that come with embracing the process, and the gym that brings us all together. It’s a reminder that the real win isn’t just the send—it’s the climb itself.

BaseCamp Climbing Gym is making waves nationally, with recent features in Climbing.com and Island Magazine highlighting our world-class outdoor climbing wall, top-tier training facilities, and unique amenities. From scaling the tallest competition-certified outdoor climbing wall to recovering in our sauna and steam room, BaseCamp offers an experience unlike any other. Check out what the buzz is about and see why we’re a must-visit destination for climbers!
